Same cars, same team, same service, new and fresh look.
Allowing us to keep growing the service you already use, backed by the scale of the Carbn Group.
This is a transition, not a change to the service. The people supporting you are the same, the cars are the same, and the way you book and drive stays the same.
When is this happening?
The transition is taking place throughout August, and everything will be iteratively moved across and transitioned to Mevo in the coming weeks.
Do I need to do anything?
No. There's nothing you need to do. We'll let you know directly if anything changes for you. Over the coming weeks you may see a mixture of Ryd and Mevo branding, in the app, on the cars, and in emails from us. That's expected, and both are us.

Every RYD booking includes 24/7 access to roadside assistance and customer support. Whether it’s a flat tyre, technical issue, or just needing help finding a charging station, our team is here to get you back on the road quickly.
Yes — we know plans can shift. You can modify or cancel your booking easily through the app. Flexible options are available depending on how close to the start time you make the change.
We ask that you return the car with at least the same level of charge it had when you picked it up. Charging is always free at our partner stations, and you’ll find them conveniently located across the city. For hybrid vehicles, you will need to pay for the fuel on your own just like a normal car rental.
Any verified driver aged 19+ with a full driver’s licence can use RYD. Once verified in the app (a one-time process), you can book and drive anytime without further checks.
